If you have not player Dungeon, then allow me to cover some of the things inside this game to intice you lovely humans.
1: It is a Belonging Outside Belonging game that plays one-to-four players.
2: As it uses the Belonging Outside Belonging system, there are no GM's, dice, or cards.
3: Narrative is what drives the game forward.
For best results, play with friends, family, and/or pets.
Yes, I will be taking questions.
Please enjoy.

DEAD-geon is a Belonging Outside Belonging dungeonpunk rpg.
It's also a game where you play both as a group of monsters inhabiting a dungeon, and as a group of kids playing an online rpg.
This meta-layer is cool, and the game itself is pulpy and it's got sort of an anarchic sense of humor, which works in its favor.
The PDF is an extremely meaty 27 pages, with a very readable layout. There's a fair few typos, but they don't really interfere with comprehension.
That said, you might want to read Dungeon by Jay Dragon before you try this. DEAD-geon is inspired by Dungeon and uses the same ruleset, and I wasn't quite able to figure out how to play DEAD-geon perfectly just by reading it. However, having read other Belonging Outside Belonging games, I feel pretty confident I could wing it, making up stuff when I got stuck.
The character classes in DEAD-geon are great, although it took me a moment to figure out that the Therian is a therianthrope (shapeshifter). There's also only four of them, which might limit group size. By contrast, there's a *lot* more antagonists---although this feels pretty reasonable, as you might want a few different adventuring parties showing up.
Overall, DEAD-geon is a cool idea and packs a *lot* of content for a jam game. If you're already comfortable with the Belonging Outside Belonging ruleset, and you want to check out something different, give this a shot!
Minor Issues:
-Page 2, Safety First, "summit" submit
-Page 2, Safety First, "eachother" each other
-Page 2, Safety First, anonymously
-Page 2, "faschists" fascists
Hello! Thanks for checking out DEAD-geon. It was a lot of fun to make.
I suppose I take my love for Beloning Outside Belonging for granted and forget that others might not grasp its play style without better explanation. I will definately work on that in the future.
Thank you for pointing out those typos. I am glad it was only in one spot. I have and will continue to have trouble with that, but I am working on spelling and such every day. Anyway, I shall fix that on DEAD-geon as soon as I can.
Have a super day!
No worries! Thank you for writing the game!
And English isn't an easy language to spell in. If it helps, you're always welcome to message me with a manuscript before you go into layout. Schedule allowing, I'm happy to proof-read some stuff.
That would be amazing. Thank you so much for your kindness.
